That turned out to be the right answer.
The Blade of Silverlane can drop from Baron Silverlane, although obtaining it required repeated dungeon resets. Once the weapon was combined with the Scroll of the Saber, it transformed into the Coldflame Sabre.

The Coldflame Sabre immediately stood out because of its unusual effect:

Testing reportedly suggests that the additional damage may scale with spell power, potentially at a very high coefficient. The exact value still needs further testing, especially because WoW Forever is in beta and these mechanics may change.
3. Fingers of Frost Could Change Everything
The biggest connection comes from the Frost Mage talent tree.
Fingers of Frost allows certain Mage abilities to treat targets as though they are frozen. That immediately creates a possible interaction with Coldflame Sabre.
If the weapon's bonus damage can be triggered through this mechanic, a Frost Mage could potentially gain meaningful value from attacking frozen targets in melee.

That sounds less like a traditional Classic Mage and much more like a Battle Mage.
However, there is currently no confirmation that Battle Mage is an official WoW Forever class or specialization. This remains a theory based on beta discoveries.
