Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 6, The Haunting, officially launches on September 17, bringing what is expected to be the game's final full season. The new patch notes confirm a massive lineup of Multiplayer maps, weapons, Zombies content, Ranked Play rewards, limited-time events, and a major endgame update.
For players preparing for the final season, there's plenty to grind for, from the VMP and TR51 Para to the new Tenshu Zombies experience and the highly anticipated DOOM Event Pass. You can buy Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies to level up faster and stay ahead. With so much content arriving at once, knowing which rewards and challenges deserve your attention can make the Season 6 grind much more efficient.
New Multiplayer Maps
Quantum
Quantum is a brand-new medium-sized 6v6 map set inside a Guild quantum-computing facility buried beneath Arctic ice.
The battlefield mixes frozen outdoor areas such as courtyards, plazas, and walkways with indoor locations including server rooms, maintenance areas, corridors, and a frozen turbine section.
The central tower can be destroyed, opening new routes and changing available cover. This creates opportunities for players who like aggressive movement and aerial attacks.
Bloodstead
Bloodstead is a horror-themed reimagining of the Mason family estate.
The environment has been transformed into a nightmare, with blood covering the river and surrounding areas while Zombies appear throughout the map. Bodies hang from rooftops around the sheds and morgue, while the kitchen and other interiors have been completely transformed into gruesome combat zones.
New Zombies-Themed Multiplayer Maps
Season 6 also adds three Zombies-inspired limited-time maps:
Roadkill — Based around Exit 115 and Reba's Diner from Ashes of the Damned.
Inferno — A version of Kowakujō's ancestral castle surrounded by an active volcano and rivers of lava.
Lost — A remote Edskalen lighthouse location from Totenreich.
These maps are particularly interesting because Season 6 brings classic Zombies locations directly into Multiplayer gameplay.
Season 6 Weapons
Four major weapons headline the new season.
The VMP is a fully automatic SMG designed around fast handling and a high rate of fire, while maintaining relatively manageable long-range damage falloff.
The TR51 Para is a semi-automatic assault rifle built around extremely high damage and controllable long-range performance. It can also be modified for fully automatic fire.
The Arcblade is a high-damage melee weapon with fast attacks and moderate reach. Players can unlock it through the seasonal event.
Finally, the Roc 20mm is a powerful special weapon firing 20mm ammunition. Like the TR51 Para, it can be modified for automatic fire, giving players another unusual option for Season 6 loadouts.
New Multiplayer Modes
T.E.D.D. Trials
T.E.D.D. Trials launches with Season 6 and combines traditional Multiplayer combat with Zombies mechanics.
Two 6v6 teams rotate through three classic Zombies environments while using Ray Guns against Zombie hordes and opposing players. The first team to reach the score limit wins, or the team with the highest score takes the match when time expires.
Hordepoint
Arriving during the season, Hordepoint revolves around capturing and holding objectives while Zombies roam the battlefield.
The key twist is that Zombies can attack nearby operators, creating additional pressure around contested objectives. Teams therefore need to manage both enemy players and the undead.
Final Ranked Play Season
Season 6 marks the final Ranked Play season for Black Ops 7, and the competitive window is shortened to a three-week sprint.
Players can earn rewards for reaching different milestones. Five wins unlock the Pro Re-Issue M15 Mod 0 Assault Rifle Blueprint, while Gold, Diamond, and Iridescent ranks provide increasingly distinctive calling cards and weapon camos.
The Top 250 also receives animated rewards, with the overall number-one player earning an exclusive Top 250 Champion animated calling card.
If you're planning to push Ranked before the end of Black Ops 7, don't leave your climb until the final week.
Zombies: Tenshu Survival Map
New Tenshu Experience
Tenshu is the new Zombies Survival experience, set within a sealed section of Kowakujō.
Players must survive increasingly dangerous waves while moving through areas including the Tenshu entrance, hot springs, war room, storage rooms, and workshop.
Expect enemies such as Hellhounds, Oni, and the undead, while useful resources can be found through Mystery Boxes, Armories, Wall Buys, GobbleGum Machines, and other systems.
Survival milestones provide additional rewards, including animated emblems, weapon charms, GobbleGum, and XP for reaching Rounds 10, 25, and 50.
Rex Infernus Directed Mode
Rex Infernus receives Directed Mode in Season 6, giving players additional guidance while working through its Main Quest.
The game displays the required quest steps on screen, making the experience more approachable for players who don't want to memorize every Easter Egg objective.
Directed Mode has a 15-round cap, and completing the quest awards the Netherclaw Warden Wonder Weapon skin, a calling card, and 5,000 XP.
Starting Room Challenge
Season 6 also introduces a challenge centered around surviving inside the starting house with limited resources.
Available equipment includes the Mystery Box, Warden 308 and Echo 9 Wall Buys, Quick Revive, and the GobbleGum Machine.
Reaching Rounds 10, 20, and 30 provides GobbleGum rewards and increasing amounts of XP, giving players a compact challenge to complete between longer Zombies runs.
You can CoD BO7 Bot Lobbies to level up faster and stay ahead.
Rogue Run and Super Easter Egg
Rogue Run receives three major base upgrades: Tier IV Pack-a-Punch, an Ultra-Rarity Weapon Upgrade, and Golden Armor that automatically regenerates Armor Plates over time.
Paradox Junction and Kowakujō also receive Casual and Hardcore playlists. During Halloween, Pumpkin Head Zombies will appear across Rogue Run playlists.
The biggest Zombies reward, however, comes from the Super Easter Egg. Players who complete the Main Quest on every round-based Zombies map can unlock the new Warden operator when Season 6 goes live.
Avalon Night and Seasonal Events
Season 6 also introduces Nightfall in Avalon, an endgame experience where operators face strange phenomena, Guild rivals, and other threats under the cover of darkness.
The new world event, Forbidden Summoning, challenges players to break ancient seals and unleash an old threat for additional rewards.
Meanwhile, the Camo Party event adds weapon-camo challenges across Multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone. Completing the challenges can unlock the Arcblade and multiple themed camos.
DOOM Event Pass
The DOOM Event Pass is one of Season 6's biggest crossover attractions.
The limited-time pass includes free and premium reward tracks, with the premium route featuring the Doom Slayer operator, a Doom Guy operator skin, weapon blueprints, finishing moves, and additional DOOM-themed rewards.
Because this is limited-time content, players interested in the crossover should prioritize its progression while the event is active.
Final Thoughts
Black Ops 7 Season 6 is packed with content and serves as a major finale for the game. Quantum and Bloodstead expand Multiplayer, T.E.D.D. Trials brings Zombies mechanics into 6v6, and Tenshu gives Zombies players a new survival challenge.
The final Ranked season, Super Easter Egg, Rogue Run upgrades, Avalon Night, Camo Party, and DOOM Event Pass give players plenty of reasons to keep playing throughout the season. If you're aiming for the Warden, Doom Slayer, exclusive camos, or Top 250 rewards, start your grind early and prioritize the limited-time objectives before the season moves on.
