Thrassian Stranglers is one of the most notable mythic items this week. Killing enemies stacks weapon and spell damage, up to 50 stacks for a total of 1150 damage. The trade-off is that each stack reduces your max health and shield strength while disabling crouching and invisibility.
This item is only suitable for score-pushing content. In normal play, survival consistency matters more than burst damage. If you're not running records or leaderboard pushes, skip it.

Crusader's Defiance is one of my most-used PvP scripts. It removes debilitating effects (cleanses yourself) and can also add healing or ultimate generation. One skill that simultaneously cleanses, heals, and generates resources is extremely efficient.
Thief's Swiftness improves mobility, which has clear value in PvP, though movement speed is usually not critical in PvE.

Defile: Not as effective in the current meta as it used to be
Protection: PvP players usually get minor protection through Scribing ultimates, so a dedicated skill slot isn't needed
Multi-target: Niche playstyle, not meta
Tel Var Merchant (Imperial City)
The Tel Var merchant is located in the Imperial City alliance base and uses Tel Var stones. The 100,000 Tel Var price tag means you should almost never buy casually.
Items Worth Considering
Indomitable set has gained new life thanks to the Markyn Ring. The Markyn Ring rewards builds using multiple three-piece sets. Indomitable provides crit resistance, stamina recovery, and minor protection plus minor heroism after breaking free. Both its two-piece and three-piece bonuses provide crit resistance, making it an efficient way to stack crit resistance.
Snow Treader Boots is an underrated mythic. While in combat, you're immune to cleansable snares and immobilizations, at the cost of not being able to sprint. In 2026, with major/minor expedition and teleport skills, speed boosts are easy to come by, and sprinting has become less important. In PvP, you're more likely to be snared and immobilized, making this item's utility underrated.
What to Skip
Reactive is a cautionary tale. It provides damage reduction after being affected by a disabling effect, but the problem is it requires the enemy to do a specific thing to you. If the enemy doesn't disable you, your five-piece set does nothing. Never rely on enemy behavior to make your set work.
Glacier Metal Rivets drops from the Black Maul public dungeon boss with a low drop rate. While Snow Treader Boots is a good mythic, farming the dungeon yourself is faster than spending 25k Tel Var.

About Bound Style Pages
The value of a bound style page is saving you the cost of buying it from another player. But style pages can be farmed during specific time windows. If you're willing to wait for it to become farmable again, you don't need to spend premium currency.
