It's not set in stone. Twitch CEO told Bloomberg that an even larger bump in viewership is expected next year, upon the advent of multiplayer, but it could just be their two cents. Grand Theft Auto 5 was released as a single-player game, with multiplayer following a few months after. A similar release could take place. Because of this, you have to plan for a single-player release first.
