Rocket Raccoon's Trash King is the free costume to target in Marvel Rivals' All Hallows' Glow event. Complete event missions to earn it, while Scarlet Witch and Hela have separate Premium rewards. The October Halloween lineup also includes a Pop & Win rotation, costume chromas, and Ultimate Ability VFX.

Start with the reward you want: Rocket's mission-earned costume, the Premium event outfits, or the three Pop & Win costumes.

Each has a different acquisition route, and the cross-pool discount applies to specific balloon draws. Understanding that distinction helps you choose where to spend your playtime and currency

Halloween 2026 Event Schedule

The Marvel Rivals update is scheduled for October 15 at 09:00 UTC without server downtime. All Hallows' Glow opens with that update; the refreshed Pop & Win pools and new store customization arrive later.

All dates refer to 2026. Plan around the row for your chosen activity: the event's opening does not make every Halloween item available at the same time. The store additions have a confirmed release time, but the announcement gives no removal date for them. Pop & Win ends at 02:00 UTC on November 13, seven hours before All Hallows' Glow.

Halloween Skins and How to Get Them

These are the six base costumes named in the October 14 Marvel Rivals update, grouped by acquisition route:

 Hero

 Costume

 How to Get It

Use the costume's route to choose where to start. Trash King is the confirmed free outfit in this lineup; the table does not imply that the Premium or pool costumes are available through free missions. The new chromas and effects are additional customization listings, covered separately below.

How to Get Rocket Raccoon's Free Trash King Skin

After updating Marvel Rivals, look for All Hallows' Glow in the event area. Find Trash King, read its reward requirement, and complete the event missions that contribute toward it. Return to the event as you make progress and follow any available reward-claim prompts.

You do not need to use Marvel Rivals Bundles to get Trash King. The confirmed unlock route is completing event missions, making it the first reward worth working toward before spending on other Halloween cosmetics.

The confirmed route is mission completion. The October 14 notes do not specify the exact threshold, number of matches, eligible modes, hero requirements, or task-release schedule. Those details need the current event rules; there is no supported fastest-route estimate yet.

How Premium Rewards Work

Scarlet Witch's Chaos Weaver and Hela's The Redeemed are Premium rewards in All Hallows' Glow. For players interested in either costume, the useful comparison is the Premium offer's price, included rewards, and remaining progression requirements.

Before committing currency in Marvel Rivals, distinguish unlocking access from receiving an outfit immediately. Inspect whether the offer grants the costume directly or opens rewards that still require progress.

The announcement gives no Premium price or complete claim sequence, so neither an instant unlock nor a total completion cost can be established from it.

If you're comparing the Premium event rewards with Marvel Rivals Bundles, check the included costumes and unlock conditions separately. A paid bundle should not be treated as equivalent to unlocking the event's Premium rewards.

If you want both Premium costumes, review the offer as a whole before comparing it with a single Pop & Win target. They use different acquisition systems; a cross-pool balloon discount says nothing about the Premium offer's cost.

Pop & Win: New Skins and 50% Discount

Rivals' Pop & Win pools offer the three costumes listed above, each with its own draw sequence.

The Cross-Pool Promo activates when you pop a balloon at full price in one pool. The balloon at the same draw number in each of the other two pools then receives a 50% discount from its original price.

For example, paying full price for draw three in one pool discounts draw three in the other two. That trigger does not describe a blanket half-price reduction for every remaining balloon or for an entire costume.

This makes the promotion most relevant when you already want rewards from multiple pools. If only one outfit interests you, discounts elsewhere offer no saving unless you decide to spend there too. Choose your targets before letting the promotion broaden your spending.

Unlike Marvel Rivals Bundles with specified contents, Pop & Win uses individual balloon draws. Compare the displayed draw costs before spending, especially if you're targeting costumes across multiple pools.

To compare costs, add the full-price trigger to any discounted draws you actually intend to make. A discounted draw costs half its original price, but the trigger still costs its full amount.

Your combined outlay therefore includes both. Check the displayed prices and acquisition rules before deciding whether the cross-pool option fits your budget.

New Halloween Chromas and Ultimate Effects

The Marvel Rivals store also adds the following from October 16 at 02:00 UTC:

 Base Costume

 Chromas

 Additional Effect

 Scarlet Witch: Chaos Weaver

 Azure Augury / Scarlet Spinner

 Ultimate Ability VFX

 Invisible Woman: Unseen Weaver

 Ruby Rite / Gilded Gaze

 Ultimate Ability VFX

These listings are worth reviewing separately from the base costumes. Someone interested in a particular color or ultimate effect should inspect that specific store entry, including its price, contents, and any ownership requirements.

The announcement does not establish that these additions come automatically with Premium or a Pop & Win costume.

Preview the base outfit first, then decide whether its extra customization matters to you. This avoids budgeting for a costume while overlooking the separate listing that contains the appearance you actually wanted.
