New World Gear Affix Chart

Apr-24-2024 PST New World

New World 001

Every weapon, every piece of armor, and every piece of jewelry in the New World game includes an Affix mechanics. Thanks to the Affix on your gear, it tells you what your primary and secondary attributes of the piece of equipment are. Our following guide is going to help you identify that very same thing. It’ll give you the names of each Affix in the game, as well as their attributes, both Primary and Secondary.

More In-Depth

New World 002

Imagine that you have a piece of equipment that contains the word Knight in the Affix section; then this would mean that your piece has Constitution as its primary attribute and Strength as its secondary attribute. Both attributes basically grant bonuses in their own field. It is not only limited to armor pieces but also weapons and jewelry.

A point worth noting is that the Affixes carry 2 attributes that have an unusually uneven split. What does that mean? Well, the Primary attribute of the Affix/item carries the higher portion of the statistics/bonuses. For instance, a Knight armor piece of 600 would have about 15 Constitution and 10 Strength. And, a Knight weapon piece of 600 would have 20 Constitution and 10 Strength. As you can see the Primary attribute carried more stats of the weapon, jewelry, or armor.
