PoE 3.27: Mageblood Kinetic Fusillade Build with 150M Damage
The Kinetic Fusillade Elementalist remains one of the strongest burst-damage setups in Path of Exile 3.27. The Mageblood variant provides a full-power version, focused almost entirely on raw, unfiltered bossing damage. With carefully crafted gear, optimised tree allocation, and high-end tuning, this build is capable of over 150 million burst DPS, enough to eliminate Ubers before they can respond.

While this version sacrifices some defences for explosive output, Mageblood allows significant customisation. Defensive layers can be added to flask setups for greater survivability, but this variant prioritises maximum damage for fast Uber farming and boss encounters.
Major Build Changes in the Mageblood Variant
1. The Dusk Ring and APS Scaling
The Dusk Ring drastically lowers the duration multiplier to approximately 0.04, allowing the attack speed cap to reach roughly 22 attacks per second and effectively removing APS restrictions. With this ceiling removed, damage scaling through weapon upgrades, buff stacking, and flask uptime becomes significantly more efficient.
2. Newly Crafted Wand
The wand is a major damage upgrade, featuring:
Increased attack speed
Critical strike multiplier
Double damage while Focused
Spell damage, added lightning damage, and penetration (elevated mods)
Uncapped attack speed with the Dusk Ring allows the wand to achieve maximum damage potential. Crafting steps, including Awakener Orb usage and meta-crafting, are available in the VOD timestamps for replication.
3. Blizzard Crown for Trinity Support
Trinity remains in use, supported by a crafted Blizzard Crown providing substantial flat elemental damage. Crafting involved:
Combining elevated elemental damage and elevated crit multiplier
Meta-crafting prefixes
Repeated wild bristle matron slams while blocking mana
This helmet contributes a significant portion of flat damage necessary to scale Kinetic Fusillade effectively.
4. Shield Upgrade
The shield provides efficiency for high-end gameplay:
High spell damage
High energy shield
Reservation efficiency
For mapping, a block-oriented shield can be chosen for increased survivability. The current shield, purchased for 25 divines, prioritises spell damage and remains highly effective.
5. Body Armour - Twilight Regalia
The Twilight Regalia chest features fractured global defences, providing a top-tier ES option. Alternative setups can use:
Triple ES prefixes (or double ES + block)
Suffixes crafted using Essence of Loathing for increased mana reservation efficiency
Meta-crafting with Eldritch currency
This body armour complements the build's full-damage focus while providing a flexible crafting template.
6. Dropping Sigil of Power
Due to the low duration multiplier, Sigil of Power lasts only about 1.5 seconds, making it inefficient. Removing it frees jewel slots for Abyssal sockets on gloves, allowing flexible stacking of:
Crit multiplier
Flat damage
Wand damage
Energy shield
Accuracy or spell damage
These enhancements deepen the build's damage potential.
7. Boots and Gloves Adjustments
Boots selected are Phantom Boots for spell suppression; pure ES boots may provide better survivability. Look for:
Intelligence
Resistances
Spell suppression
Dexterity
Prefixes should ideally include movement speed, evasion (for hybrid boots), and energy shield. Gloves follow a similar approach and utilise Abyssal sockets to maximise damage scaling.
8. Flask Setup with Mageblood
The Mageblood variant transforms flask efficiency.
Bossing Flask Setup:
Silver Flask - increased crit
Bismuth Flask - resistances + life regen converted to ES via Zealot's Oath
Quartz Flask - crit chance + shock immunity
Quicksilver Flask - additional resistances
Bottled Faith - essential for burst DPS
Mapping Flask Swap:
Replace Silver Flask → Jade Flask (~20k evasion)
Replace Bottled Faith → Rumi's Concoction for block
High-speed movement reduces the need for Quicksilver Flask during mapping. Mageblood provides flexibility to solve resistances, crit scaling, defences, and mobility without gear adjustment.
9. Watcher's Eye and PoB Updates
A double-Wrath Watcher's Eye is used, offering:
Increased lightning damage
Lightning penetration
Recent PoB updates improve Kinetic Fusillade damage calculations, accounting for additional projectiles and duration scaling. Projectile counts should be verified in configuration to avoid inflated DPS readings.
Build Cost and Final Notes
Estimated costs:
Mageblood: ~200 divines
Newly crafted gear: 200-300 divines
Total cost varies depending on market prices
This variant is not budget-friendly but delivers exceptional performance against Ubers. MMOexp provides you with all the PoE currency and items you need to build your class. With all upgrades, the build comfortably exceeds 150 million burst DPS, capable of eliminating bosses almost instantly.
