ARC Raiders: The Power of the Torrente Builds - Juggernaut vs. Controlled Loadouts

ARC Raiders Apr-07-2026 PST

In the fast-paced world of ARC Raiders, where constant action and high-stakes firefights are the name of the game, players are always looking for that edge, that one build that will push them to the top.

Enter the Torrente, a gun that, when fully upgraded, becomes an absolute monstrosity on the battlefield. With the right combination of mods, it transforms into a juggernaut of destruction, firing 306 rounds before needing to reload. But is that level of power enough to make you truly unstoppable, or is it simply a louder way to meet your demise?

ARC Raiders: The Power of the Torrente Builds - Juggernaut vs. Controlled Loadouts

In this article, we explore two different builds of the Torrente-the Controlled Build and the Juggernaut Build-and test them out in the chaotic world of Stella Montis. Let's break down both loadouts and find out which one reigns supreme.

The Torrente: A Beast Unleashed

The Torrente is a heavy weapon that already feels unfair once you hit level 4. With Mag 3, this bad boy holds 102 rounds, making it a powerhouse in close-quarter combat. But the real insanity begins when you don't just settle for one Torrente. Imagine bringing in three Torrentes-each one capable of unloading 102 rounds. That gives you a total of 306 rounds before you even have to think about reloading.

But how does this massive firepower translate in the field? We decided to take this idea even further by creating two different loadouts for our team to test: the Controlled Build and the Juggernaut Build.

The Controlled Torrente Build: Precision and Reliability

The first loadout we tried is commonly referred to as the Meta Torrente Build, and it's all about precision and control. This setup includes the Mag 3, Compensator 3, and Stable Stock 3 mods. On paper, this build offers the perfect balance of stability and damage. It makes the Torrente manageable during sustained fire while keeping the weapon's recoil under control.

When paired with three Torrentes, this setup becomes a machine of destruction in Stella Montis, a map known for its non-stop action and close-quarter engagements. In the early stages of the raid, the Controlled Torrente Build lived up to expectations. It delivered consistent damage output while still allowing for quick reactions and repositions, making it ideal for situations where precision and timing are critical.

Gameplay Experience:

The raid quickly became chaotic, but with the Controlled Torrente Build, we were able to mow through enemies with relative ease. The non-stop action was a breeze to handle. As teammates rushed through doors, the sheer firepower of the Torrente allowed us to break down enemies fast. The reloads were quick, and the mod setup ensured that we weren't spending too much time recovering from recoil.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing. While the Controlled Build felt like a reliable option, it lacked the raw destructive force that some players were craving. At certain points, the opponents' resilience seemed to outlast the Torrente's limited magazine. Despite this, the build was solid and allowed us to control the flow of combat.

The Juggernaut Torrente Build: Unstoppable Force

If the Controlled Build was for those looking for reliability, then the Juggernaut Build was for those who wanted to brute-force their way through any challenge. This version of the Torrente packs a Kinetic Converter and a Heavy Shield, adding bulk and protection while maintaining the monstrous firepower.

Gameplay Experience:

The Juggernaut Torrente Build was like stepping into a warzone with a walking tank. From the moment we entered the fight, the sheer firepower of the build made its presence felt. The Kinetic Converter amplified our damage even further, allowing us to tear through enemies with little regard for the usual limitations. Coupled with the Heavy Shield, we were nearly invulnerable in close-quarter combat, providing the perfect protection while unleashing absolute chaos.

However, it wasn't just the Torrente's firepower that made this build feel unstoppable-it was the overwhelming combination of offense and defense. In one of the intense firefights, we found ourselves being swarmed by enemies. But rather than backing down, we simply leaned into our tanky setup, unleashing rounds with the Torrente while using the Heavy Shield to absorb damage. The Juggernaut Build essentially made us an impenetrable wall.

But as you might imagine, the trade-off for all this power is speed. The Juggernaut Build was undeniably slower, with limited maneuverability in some scenarios. Moving through tighter spaces or making quick escapes became harder due to the shield's bulk, and there were times when the reloads felt like a bit of a drag.Despite the trade-offs, the Juggernaut Torrente Build felt like the ultimate tool for a player who just wanted to push forward, causing destruction at any cost. If you don't mind slowing down a little to tank damage while dealing massive amounts of destruction, this build is the way to go.

The Battle for Supremacy

Both builds had their strengths and weaknesses, but the true test of their effectiveness came during the chaotic raids on Stella Montis. While the Controlled Torrente Build was more agile and easy to handle, it didn't have the same level of raw destruction as the Juggernaut Build. The Juggernaut Torrente Build, on the other hand, had unparalleled firepower and survivability, but its slower speed and reload times made it harder to maneuver in hectic situations.

The real question here is: Does 306 rounds actually make us unstoppable, or is it just a louder way to die? The answer is not as simple as it seems. Both builds provide immense power, but they also come with limitations that make them viable in different scenarios.

If you're playing with a team that can support you and you need to hold the line, the Juggernaut Build is an excellent option.

If you prefer to move quickly, maintain control, and make precision shots, the Controlled Build will likely suit you better.

The Final Verdict

After hours of testing, it's clear that the Torrente is an overpowered weapon in the right hands, regardless of the build you choose. It is your best choice for successfully extracting and obtaining more ARC Raiders Items/Blueprints, and ARC Raiders Coins.

Whether you go for control or raw power, the Torrente is a devastating weapon capable of clearing rooms, mowing down enemies, and making a massive impact in raids.

However, after considering all factors, the Controlled Torrente Build came out on top for me. While the Juggernaut Build had its appeal, the Controlled Build offered a more balanced experience that was perfect for the fast-paced nature of Stella Montis. 306 rounds is a lot of firepower, but knowing when to pull back and reload can be the key to survival. The Controlled Build made that possible.

That said, if you're looking for a true juggernaut experience and you don't mind sacrificing some mobility, the Juggernaut Torrente Build will not disappoint. It's a tank that turns you into an indestructible force, capable of mowing down entire squads.
