Dune Awakening: Complete Guide to the Advanced Bene Gesserit Questline
The sands of Arrakis are full of secrets, and few are as intriguing as the Bene Gesserit. In Dune: Awakening, advancing your training under this mysterious order can grant you powerful abilities with the Voice - but finding the right mentor and completing her trials isn't straightforward. This walkthrough covers everything you need to know to locate Sister Jocasta, complete her Advanced Bene Gesserit questline, and unlock your full potential as a practitioner of this ancient discipline.

Finding the Advanced Bene Gesserit Trainer
Before starting the quest, make sure you've unlocked your primary Bene Gesserit skill tree. Once that's done, travel to Harko Village, where you'll find Sister Jocasta, the trainer who offers advanced instruction. She's tucked away in a back alley near the Vehicle Merchant.
Jocasta's questline will have you traveling between Arrakis and Harko Village several times, so make sure your vehicle is fueled and that you have enough Solari for the journey. Speak to Jocasta to receive your first assignment.
Step 1: Search the Depths of Mirzabah
Your first destination is Mirzabah, the large hammer-shaped structure in the Vermillius Gap. Head toward the north side of the cave, following the quest marker on your map, and eliminate any enemies you encounter along the way.
Inside the main chamber, defeat the Kirab enemy and collect the Blue ID Band found there. Then, head down the stairs through the blue door, climb the wall on the right, and search the corner of the next room to find a small urn. Picking it up will complete this portion of the quest.
Tip: Since Mirzabah is crawling with enemies, it's best to bring a well-maintained weapon and enough healing items for prolonged combat.
Step 2: Find the Path Up the Stone Sentinel
Next, Jocasta will send you to scale the Stone Sentinel, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the desert. Head to the marked location on your map, where you'll find ropes and footlights guiding your path upward.
Climb carefully - dehydration can quickly become a problem in the daytime heat, so attempt this section at night if possible. Follow the ropes and lights until you reach the mouth of the Stone Sentinel, where you'll find another urn waiting. Collect it to progress the quest and then return to Jocasta in Harko Village.
Step 3: Search for the Panoplia Propheticus Fragment
For your next task, you'll be searching for a prophecy fragment in a dangerous region filled with hostile enemies. Make sure you have solid defenses - a shield, suspensor belt, and a strong sword and gun are highly recommended.
Travel to the next quest marker and look for the Stonestep Village entrance, located about halfway up a rocky formation. Before entering, set up a Respawn Beacon nearby in case you're defeated. Inside, you can either fight your way through or sneak past enemies to reach the objective.
Bring your Resource Scanner, as you'll need it to track your target. On the second floor of the village, you'll find a destroyed urn beside a pile of rubble. Scan it to pick up the trail of the assailant responsible.
Step 4: Investigate the House of Ilm
Your investigation leads next to the House of Ilm, a heavily guarded intel base. Fortunately, the item you need is near the entrance, allowing you to complete this stage quickly.
Enter the first chamber, eliminate the enemies, and retrieve the urn surrounded by candles at the altar. Then, head back to Jocasta in Harko Village to report your progress.
Step 5: Explore Imperial Testing Station No. 71
Jocasta's next mission takes you deep into Imperial Testing Station No. 71, where you'll uncover the secrets of Kyne's influence on the Bene Gesserit and the Fremen.
Inside, head down to the central chamber where two purple doors are locked. Go west first, clear the enemies, and enter the red-lit room to collect a Blue ID Band. Then, go southeast and through the now-open blue door to fight more enemies. Be cautious - many here use poisoned weapons, so stock up on antidote medkits.
Continue to the small room to the east, collect the Purple ID Band, and return to the main chamber. Use it to open the north purple door, defeat the remaining enemies, and grab the book from the northeast alcove. With these discoveries in hand, return to Jocasta.
Step 6: Go to the Ambush Point
When you return to Harko Village, you'll find that Jocasta has gone missing. Talk to the nearby NPC marked on your map to learn she was last seen near Hannivar's Bar.
Go to Hannivar's and buy a Mélange Spiced Beer from the bartender (cost: about 1,000 Solari). Offer it to the mercenaries in the back corner of the bar to get information about Jocasta's whereabouts and a planned ambush.
Follow the new marker on your map to the ambush point. Be ready for an intense battle - several enemies will attack as soon as you arrive. After defeating them, travel about 200 meters to find Jocasta, who survived the ordeal. Speak with her and agree to meet again in Harko Village.
Step 7: Complete Your Training
Back in Harko Village, speak to Jocasta one final time to complete your Advanced Bene Gesserit training. This marks the end of the primary questline, but your journey doesn't end here - Jocasta will offer additional contracts that unlock Capstone Bene Gesserit skills, expanding your mastery even further.
Final Tips
Always set a Respawn Beacon before entering dangerous locations.
Travel at night whenever possible to reduce dehydration risk.
Keep your vehicle fueled and carry plenty of Dune Awakening Solari and Dune Awakening Items for travel expenses.
Use your Resource Scanner often - many quest items are hidden until scanned.
By the time you finish the Advanced Bene Gesserit questline, you'll not only gain deep insight into the secretive sisterhood but also unlock some of the most powerful Voice-based abilities in Dune: Awakening.
