How to Get Dazmand in Aniimo
Dazmand is the final evolution of Pomegg, but the event gives players a special reason to hunt for it now. Current game data shows that Pomegg can evolve into either Pomawk or Dazmand, with Dazmand requiring completion of the related Aniimo Discovery quests, Aniimo level 25, and a Roar Stone.
The Discovery event itself lets you use Search Attempts to track the featured Aniimo across Idyll. Free attempts are replenished periodically, but unused attempts do not stack, so logging in regularly is important. Once your free attempts are gone, the event allows additional searches by spending Vein Essence.
When a search reveals the target area, head to the marked location and capture the Dazmand you find there. Current guides report that the event encounter can place Dazmand among groups of other Aniimo, making a fast capture setup particularly useful. Tumbler Pods can also speed up the process when several targets are grouped together.
Complete the Dazmand Research Quests
Simply finding Dazmand is only part of the event. The research objectives are designed to make you actually use the new Aniimo.
The current event data divides the objectives into several categories. You need to capture multiple Dazmand, including at least one high-quality capture, then complete combat tasks using Dazmand and activate its skills. There are also objectives tied to using its Ultimate.
That means you should not immediately box your first Dazmand and forget about it. Put it into an active team and use its abilities while completing the remaining event tasks. This is one of the easiest ways to make progress on multiple objectives at the same time.
The Research Center is also important because advancing the event research unlocks additional Search Buffs. In other words, continuing to complete the event does more than hand out one-time rewards-it can also improve later searches.
What Makes Dazmand So Useful?
Dazmand is a Lightning Support Aniimo with 522 total base stats, including 108 ATK and 88 REGEN. Its biggest value, however, comes from its utility rather than raw damage.
Its most important ability is Thunder Sweep. Dazmand performs a spinning kick that deals area damage and pulls nearby targets toward it. More importantly, hitting with Thunder Sweep increases the entire team's Lightning critical rate by 20% for 20 seconds. That makes Dazmand particularly interesting for teams built around Lightning damage dealers.
The second major tool is Electricity Shock. Dazmand curls into a ball and dashes toward its target, dealing damage while applying five stacks of Lightning Debuff. If the enemy already has enough stacks after the hit, the attack can apply Paralysis for five seconds, giving the team another form of battlefield control.
Then there is Lightning Storm, Dazmand's Ultimate. It spins upside down and creates a large Lightning area that hits targets up to 12 times. Each hit adds another Lightning Debuff stack, and Dazmand can move while the attack is active.
Dazmand's Best Trait Makes Its Rotation Easier
Dazmand also has Spotlight Moment, a trait that fits perfectly with a quick-swap Support playstyle.
The first skill Dazmand uses within five seconds of entering battle does not consume EP, and the effect has a 15-second cooldown.
That means Dazmand can jump onto the field, activate an important support skill without paying the normal EP cost, then rotate back to your main damage dealer. With Thunder Sweep's Lightning critical-rate buff lasting 20 seconds, the timing can line up naturally with a short burst window.
Should You Farm Dazmand Before the Event Ends?
Absolutely worth considering, especially for players building Lightning-focused teams.
Even if you are not planning to use Dazmand as a permanent member of your main squad, the Aniimo Discovery event is currently the most convenient opportunity to work toward this unique Support. The event also encourages repeated searches and research progression, so there is value in continuing after the first successful capture.
The biggest mistake would be waiting until the final day. Free Search Attempts do not stack, which means skipping several refreshes can leave you with unnecessary pressure at the end of the event.
For now, prioritize the event requirements, keep a Pomegg ready for evolution, complete the research objectives, and test Dazmand in a Lightning team. With its team-wide Crit support, Lightning Debuff stacking, crowd control, Aniimo Boosting and EP-saving trait, Dazmand gives Aniimo players a new support option that is much more interesting than its strange break-dancing moves might suggest.
